Unsubscribe Settings For Lists

By default, when someone unsubscribes from one of your lists, they are automatically unsubscribed from all of your lists. They also get added to your suppression list, to prevent any further emails being sent to them accidentally.

This setting can be changed for each list so that, if a subscriber on multiple lists unsubscribes from one mailing list, they will remain subscribed to the rest.

Change the Unsubscribe settings for a list

To change the default setting for a subscriber list:

1. Click Lists & Subscribers under Smart Capture navigation, then select the relevant subscriber list.
2. Select the relevant client from the breadcrumbs navigation link, if you have multiple clients.
3. Click List Settings in the left sidebar.
4. Click Edit.
5. Below the heading, "Unsubscribe Settings", select "When someone unsubscribes from this list, only unsubscribe them from this list.".
6. Click Save.
