Getting started with Revenue Targets
What are Revenue Targets?
DreamCampaigns enables you to capture ecommerce revenues, evaluate them then build a Marketing Automation to target the Abandoned Cart visitors and retain customers. Revenue Target is the tool that enables you to accomplish various marketing goals by analyzing your revenue data and help you reach your revenue targets.
You can use Revenue Targets for various marketing solutions, an example of using Revenue Targets is to turn your Abandoned Carts into real sales.
The logic behind Revenue Targets are very simple, you would tell us what constitutes a valid/not valid revenue and we'll take care of the rest.
Create a Revenue Target
To create a Revenue Target:
- Click Revenue Targets under Smart Capture navigation.
- Click New Revenue Target button.
- On the Revenue Target Options page, enter a name for the Revenue Target.
- Select a list that you want the subscribers be added to.
- On the Choose Fields To Capture section, double click fields that matches your app fields that you like to use to evaluate the revenues.
Valid Revenue Target Logic
In this section you use the rule generator to create the logic for when the revenue data we get from your website is a valid revenue and should be counted as successful sale item.
Abandoned Revenue Target Logic
In this section you use the rule generator to create the logic for when the revenue data we get from your website is NOT a valid revenue and should NOT be counted as successful sale item.
Revenue Target Implementation
You can start using the Revenue Target by using our SDK or our API. Make sure to follow the Revenue Target Implementation step to add the SDK code to your e-commerce section of your website. Once the implementation is in place, the data will start flowing to your Revenue Target where you can run reports and use the data in List Segmentation and campaigns.
